The MiG-31 is a tandem
two-seat all-weather interceptor and is powered by two
Tumansky R-31F (or two Perm D-30F6) turbojets with
afterburners. It entered service in 1983. The aircraft
has 8 hardpoints for an assortment of AAMs and is
equipped with a 23mm 6 barrell GSh-23-6 cannon. |
