Safaga

Fifty kilometers south of Hurghada is the port of Safaga. Most of the ships coming and going to Saudi Arabia use this port. During the Islamic Holy Pilgrimage, thousands of pilgrims come to Safaga to embark on their trip to Mecca. There is nothing to do or see in Safaga, nevertheless, a few kilometers off of the port are a few good dive sites, such as Sharm El-Naga. Also off the shores of Safaga is the wreck of the recent Salem Express disaster. The ship was coming from Saudi Arabia and crashed into the reef. This wreck dive used to be illegal, however, diving centers still organize boat dives to it from Hurghada.

It has recently come to my notice that some people are taking my images and text, from this site, and then passing it off as their own.
