Ghandrung was the biggest town in the area. Top picture is where the local people stay. The two story houses are built right beneath the snow capped mountains. The guest houses all have a very good views, just like the front yard of a guest house in the Left picture.

Today, we had to travel across the valley to Chomrong which has almost the same altitude as Ghandrung. It was not very far if consider the straight distance, it is about six to seven kilometers. But we had to use half a day to climb down to the valley, crossed the Kyumnu Khola, than another half a day to climb up to Chomrong. On the way, there were many trekkers came from all over the world and we got to know each others as we trekked. It was a sunny day in the morning, but it rained just when arrived in Chomrong, how lucky we were. Picture on the Right was taken from the guest house while I was looking at the mountains. In the evening, the rain stopped, the cloud started to clear away from Annapurna south and Fish Tail peak.
Picture on the Left was taken while we were leaving Chomrong. The sun ray shinned through the clouds beside the Fish Tail peak, and shinned on the forest, the valley and the villages. It seem like the blessing from the heaven. Chomrong was the last town before we entered Annapurna Sanctuary. We will in Annapurna Sanctuary after we being checked at the area office in Chomrong.

Went down to valley again, crossed the river again and climbed up the slop again. This became the daily routine we had to go through everyday. After lunch, we started to walk in the forest area. It started to rain again, we walked very fast and it took only about an hour to reach Dobang, it was the most relax day so far. The pictures at the top was the Tip Top Hotel we stayed at Dobang. On the right is the shelf in the kitchen.

In Dobang, I was very happy to see the sweet light from the Fish Tail peak in the second day morning. Fish Tail Peak look like a blue ruby shinning the blue lights to the sky.
