6/01/02 8BALL CHAOS
CREATES WEB PRESENCE LIKE NEVER SEEN BEFORE.
WILL THE INTERNET BE ABLE TO RECOVER? By Jerry McHumperdink

For the first time
ever, the phenomenon known as 8Ball Chaos comes to the internet. With their brand of in your face
rock/punk/hillbilly/pop/country/classical/hip-hop/jibberish, the boys of
CHAOS have set their sights on tackling cyber-space. Though not at all illiterate on the impact
of technology, 8BALL CHAOS has up to this point, stayed within the
conventional means to reach their audiences.
Means such as local concerts, keg parties, all night bowling, and free
face painting booths at the local fairs have been their advertising weapon of
choice. One fan of the band
said, “Its about !@#$ing time these @$$holes decided to put up a
website. I mean, for Christ sake, my
own @#$damn grandmother has three of them.
What a bunch of @$$ pirates.”
Their roadie seemed pretty upset when making these comments so I took
the liberty of editing them in case the kids are reading. At press time I tried to reach the band
for comment but they were too busy to comment…something about computer
training for the band and trouble finding the “ANY” key on the keyboard. At any rate, look to
see something different from a band website than you have ever seen
before. There are others out there
but now that 8BALL CHAOS is on the web, it is this journalists opinion that
NOTHING WILL BE THE SAME AGAIN!! |
