What is an Online Mall?

The eInTown online mall is designed to be a service to you. It provides you with one website to visit for:

  • Customer Support services
When you click on a merchant link, a new browser opens the online website of the merchant of your choice. Using the eInTown site provides you the opportunity to return to one web location for easy access to other merchants. This makes your shopping choices and access much easier, at no additional cost to you.

eInTown.com is a member of many affiliate programs, including Yahoo! Geocities. Yahoo! Geocities sponsors several pages on our website. In addition, eInTown.com has some merchants who pay a small fee to be on our mall site, making their own online stores available to you.

What are affiliate programs?

Affiliate programs are agreements with merchant's featured on the eInTown page. We provide links to merchant websites in exchange for a commission, at no additional cost to you. The merchant benefits from online sales and traffic. Your orders are handled directly by the merchant company with which you place an order.

eInTown is paid a commission based on sales generated through links from our site. In most cases, if you make a subsequent visit to a merchant without going through an eInTown link, we do not receive a commission. In the case of merchants who pay to be listed on eInTown, we do not receive a commission.

What are your "Feature Products"?

We feature specific products provided through our merchants to make shopping easier for you. These features give you the option of choosing a link directly to a particular product or product category at a merchant's website. Some of them include making merchant search engines available to you, the shopper. We provide these features to enhance your shopping experience. If you would like to see more features on specific types of products, please feel free to email us. Are my transactions secure and privacy protected?

Our merchants are concerned about providing you with secure online shopping. You probably recognized many of our merchants by name. We do our best to select merchants that secure your ordering information and personal information, as well as protect you from online "spam". If you have concerns about ordering from a particular merchant, please check the FAQ's section or other security information on their individual merchant website.

eInTown protects your privacy by keeping our mailing and eZine lists strictly private. We do not share this information with any others, nor do we sell or exchange this information.

What's in your eZine, the eInTownObserver?

The eInTownObserver is our bi-monthly eZine for Subscribers. It features monthly or seasonal specials run by our merchants, and updates on any new merchants or products at eInTown. We also feature additional savings, rebates and coupons in the newsletter. It is not practical for us update multiple webpages each month to feature these items. Therefore, we feature them in our eZine. Subscribers to the eInTownObserver have access to these specials and discounts.

Please sign-up for the eZine so you can enjoy these specials as well. It is published bi-monthly, and there are occasional special editions for merchant holiday sales and discounts. You also receive our bonus FREE eBook INSTANTLY when you join. We do not fill your email up with junk email.

What if I have a complaint?

Your orders are handled directly by the merchant company with which you placed the order. The merchant companies hope that you will be a satisfied customer and will work to resolve any issues with your order. However, if you are dissatisfied with any shopping purchase from one of our merchant affiliate programs, we would like to know and will help you. Please email mall management and we will follow up by contacting the merchant and requesting help with your issue. Our email address for shopping concerns is: manager@eintown.com. How do I bookmark the eInTown page?

Thank you for considering the addition of the eInTown site to your bookmarks (or favorites) list. Following are instructions for both Internet Explorer and Netscape Users:

Internet Explorer Users:
  • Click the "favorites" button on the toolbar at the top of your browser.
  • Select the "add to favorites" option.
  • Click the "ok" button. The eInTown page is then added to your favorites list.
  • To return, simply open the favorites button on your toolbar, click the eInTown favorite from your list. You can then close the favorite list on your browser.

Netscape Users:
  • Click the "bookmarks" button on the toolbar at the top of your browser.
  • Select the "add bookmarks" option. The eInTown page is then added to your bookmark list.
  • To return, simply open the bookmarks drop down menu on your toolbar, click the eInTown bookmark from your list.
