Semifinals '98

It was such a wonderful night for the Malaysian team as they managed to get into the final after defeating Denmark 3-2. No one has ever thought that Malaysia is capable of doing that. No one ever put hopes in our Malaysia team. They're young and new and inexperienced but they proved to us that they're able of doing us proud when they're needed! It was such a thrilling game especially when Malaysia and Denmark stood at 2-2 after 2 games of singles and 2 games of doubles. The atmosphere changed and everyone began to pay special attention to the last and crucial game between Roslin Hashim and Kenneth Jonassen. When Roslin lost in the first game, everyone was thinking that there is no more hope for the Malaysian team but young and promising Roslin proved that Malaysian are not easy to bully and with his strong determination, he managed to force the game to rubber set and initially won the game. At this moment, we see crowds shouting, cheering.. and we know it's not a dream anymore.. Malaysia had made their way to the final, and prove to all that we can do it ! MALAYSIA BOLEH!
