What is an Indigo Child?

When speaking about an Indigo Child, one often wonders: what is it?,
as if it were an object. Objects can be classified, but people can't.
Being against classifications, it's better to be able to recognize
them, because there is no child that we may take as a model. Being
an Indigo is a matter of attitude, rather than a matter of (physical)
traits.
When
I am asked what an Indigo Child is, I reply...
For
you to have an image of Indigo Children (this type could be the most
representative): they are independent beings, with an independent
way of thinking, as independent as they are themselves. They can't
be influenced easily, and they question everything that happens around
them, they don't adjust to set rhythms, especially when their own
natural biologic rhythm is broken. They are very sensitive, and relate
to other people's feelings easily (empathy). They can be very extroverted,
but if they don't find sympathy around them, they will be very introverted,
and will only relate well with people of their same characteristics

Indigo is a child that...
¨ ...is an adult in a small body.
¨ ...doesn't have specific physical features, he/she may be blond,
dark, tall, short, fat, slim... although his eyes usually have a
special liveliness.
¨ ...is the destroyer or the insolent of the class.
¨ ...is a perfect mirror for the adult's flaws. If you have an Indigo
at home or at school, he/she will reflect all the things that you
have to work on.
¨ ...is the son or the pupil that questions everything you do if
he feels that it isn't fair.
¨ ...is the one who fights against injustice.
¨ ...learns only the basics of what isn't essential to him, and
learns it all, effortless, if he's interested.
¨ ...may be gifted, or not.
¨ ...may have ADHD (Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), or
not.
¨ ...may have paranormal abilities, or not.
¨ ...relates to many different kinds of people in order to learn
from them.
¨ ...his/her energy causes change to be faster, causing old and
invalid patterns to break wherever he/she goes.
¨ ...is a system-breaker, of educational, social and cultural systems
that are obsolete. ¨ ...is the catalyst of change, doing everything
that is necessary for this society to change radically.
