He speaks through a woman named Rosemary Altea author of Eagle and the Rose, Proud Spirit and You Own Your Power. What I am about to copy is from her book Proud Spirit and they are Questions many people have asked Grey Eagle to help us understand our Universe. Question: Grey Eagle, what is your concept of God? Answer: I will repeat to you the may words which you have heard before. And, I know that I will leave you dissatisfied, for your concept is limited. And so, I will tell you that God is all things to all men. And God is the force which turns the universe. And God is the force which breathes life into all things And God is the force which is truth And God is the force which is love And God id the force…...and God is…...and God…God… Question: Grey Eagle, there are many houses of worship on the earth plane… churches, shrines, mosques, and temples, to name a few. I s there an appropriate place to worship? Answer: The Universe hears your whisper… the universe hears your cry… and God, that all-knowing and all-seeing power, sees your heart. Here, we have no use of shrines or temples. Here, we have no use of churches or masques. But for you on the earth plan.. If to sit in a temple helps to still your heart… if to sit in a quite mosque helps to discover your soul.. If to walk through a quite churchyard helps to recognize the heart of your soul and to hear the heart beat of the soul...then we accept your need for such buildings as these. But God will sit beneath a tree in a quite meadow. And God will walk along a cool seashore. And God will enter a battlefield. And, yes, God will even visit a brothel, and sit by a drunken man, and stand close to the mother who whips her child. There are many of you, on hearing my words, who will hold out your hands in horror at the thought of such things ...even while acknowledging that God is everywhere. And even while acknowledging that God is everywhere, there are those of you who will hurry to your temples, your shrines, your places of worship, needing to be closer to him. But most of all, I tell you, and truly from my heart, that there is not one being...not one living thing… that dose not have God at its center, at the heart of it. And there is no man, woman, or child who is exempt form this rule. God’s voice whispers to you through the trees. But, yet, if you live in a barren place where there are no trees. You may still, if you listen, hear his voice in the wind. And God’s breath bowls to you on a cool breeze, But those of you who have no cool breeze and live in the heat of a city need have no fear, for, yet, still God’s breath blows upon you and it will travel down the rays of the sun as easily as it will travel through the icebergs… as easily as it will ripple through the still waters of a quite brook… as strongly as it will call in the waves that crash down on a storm-laden shore. And truly I will say to you, and from my heart, there is nothing that comes from the earth or that is given to the earth that God’s hand does not touch. And there is not one soul...not one single soul...that dose not have God’s heart within it somewhere. So build your temples and your shrines if this helps you to center yourselves and to discover your truth. For, whatever it is that you need ...and whatever it is that helps you to find your truth and to discover yourself...then this, we feel is a good thing. I now want to skip a few pages in this chapter to a Question that is every close to my heart. Question: Another heated debate in America, as in many parts of the world, regards the issue of homosexuality. Should Homosexuality be condoned by society at large as another way of life? Answer: And I will say to you again, and yet once again, and I will continue to repeat, and once again...There are many of you who will hold a holy book in your hand ...whatever you may call this holy book...the bible, or any other name ...and you will read the words written therein, and you will take these words to be God’s words. And we hear you call out to us of your love for good and of your love of mankind. And so it is distressing for us to see that for all of you who take God’s love to your heart...yet still you are blind and do not see that God’s love is infinite…and God lives, truly. Within the heart of each and every one. And if you will look at you neighbor and despise him or even one small part of him which is God, and you will deny God. And if you look at your fellow man and judge him in anger… then truly I will say to you, and from my heart, for as surly as God resides in each and every one of us...you will judge God and condemn him. Each man, woman, and child upon the earth plane has a right to be there...to live peaceably and in harmony. Each man, woman, and child has a personality which is individual to that individual, and no man may judge another harshly...but that he judges God. For God’s place is within the heart of every human soul. And God lives and breathes within the heart of the soul… and is, indeed, the heart of the soul And God’s love is encompassing. And he will not choose one from another...nor, yet, say one is better than. For we are all his children, and he is the heartbeat which allows the soul it’s survival. And so if there is one of you who will cast the first stone in condemning or in judgment of another...judging harshly or cruelly, then I will tell you, truly, that the stone that you will cast, you will cast toward God, and he will feel the pain of it. |
