The Real Jim Suave

1. Pam was Doofy's date for his graduation. He'd never bring in a picture of her, because we were curious to see what kind of girl would go out with him voluntarily.
2. Doofy - I don't like to be harsh, but he's dumb. I really think he's challenged in more ways than one. Didn't have a learners license, and bought a beat up car. Nearly killed himself and others more than once.
3.Long story.  Doofy and Muntz were in a mule (a glorified golf cart) and driving really fast. Doofy was standing in the back of it (mini flatbed) holding onto the roll bars. Muntz didn't see the ropes strung across the fairway to keep golf carts off, and drove into it.  Rope slides up roll bars to catch the Doof in the neck.  He goes flying out of the mule, taking equipment with him. M stops and realizes he's lost something, and goes back....to PICK UP THE RAKES.  Yes, the rakes.  Doofy was in the hospital, and was very lucky that the rope was tied to a stake that comes out of the ground and not to another tree.
4. Another individual like Doofy.  Home schooled - one boss thought that explained it all.  An actual quote from M: We're sitting in the lunchroom, waiting for a severe morning storm to go away, when it does out a little.  M had been proclaiming that his bike had been hit more than once by lightning.  Room is silent. M gets up quickly and says: It's the eye of the storm. I have seven minutes to get home! Then he runs off to find his bike.  Did I mention that this was in the middle of the prairie? and in no way was a tornado.
5. Ted... what to say about Ted?  He drank on the job. Wouldn't be surprised if he smoked up either.  He was older, as in like, 50, maybe.  He was responsible for changing the holes on the golf course. At first, this took him the morning (4 hours), but at the end of the summer, it took him 8 hours.
6.  The Articulator. Towed behind a tractor, it cuts grass, but is hydraulic, so it can go around trees and mow curves.
7.  Oselle and I were the first girls to really work as crew, and we think the felt like they had to "break" us - for no one raked more sand traps than I.  They didn't want to put us on machines...but when they eventually did, they liked the work we did, and after that, whenever anything needed to get done, they gave the job to us. ^^
8. Michael was the GM for the course. For more on him, please read "God and His Truck".
9. From Robin Hood: Men In Tights. This was one of our theme songs for the summer. That and "I'll Make a Man Out of You" from Mulan.
10.  Grandpa Lloyd also worked there. He didn't like us at first, but as he got to know us, he lightened up, and we started calling him "Grandpa Lloyd" because...well, he was.
11. Fancypants was Eric, this totally conceited guy who was only worried about how he looked.
12. The Puck was a guy called Dana, who went to the States to play hockey.
13.  Mike Jr. Need we say more about what he's like?
14. Apparently Doofy got a job at a Waterpark, serving food. Didn't last long, from what we hear. He's too scary to be around food.
