Our Mission
Our mission is to provide a complete online archive of important names, dates, and images of members of the Elia Family, so that new generations can learn about their history and so distant relatives can keep in touch.
Our Vision
The current vision of the website is divided into six different areas:
- Announcements, a source for information to be spread quickly to the family about new births, weddings, events, reunions, graduations, or anything that you want spread far and wide;
- Family Tree, a listing of every member of the family with a short biographical sketch of each member;
- Photo Galleries, a collection of "albums" which digitally preserve family photographs arranged so that each member has up to 10 photographs of themselves in addition to special event albums of unlimited size for events like reunions and birthday celebrations;
- Calendar, a month-by-month collection of birthdays, anniversaries, and other important dates;
- Reunion Info, a source for information about forthcoming reunions and an archive of previous reunion photographs and memories;
- Message Boards, a place where users can leave messages about family memories, recipes, or other topics.
To date, we have made a start in each of these six areas but have not completed any one section. In addition, we are open to adding other features if there is interest.
