¡@ Conceptual DesignIn this stage, the few conceptual ideas are designed. The conceptual ideas are come from the brainstorming. Conceptual 1: One is using the gun system to propel the cricket. See the detail in drawing no.2 Figure 17: Gun System Spring is to store the energy. The tripod is to adjust the height of the device and up and down position. It looks like a pinball system because they are the same design principle. The mechanism is like a gun. Back to topConceptual 2: Second is the pinball system. The spring is also used to store the energy to propel the ball forward. (See in drawing no.1)
¡@ In this conceptual design, it is very simple in design. It seems to be a pinball system. The rectangular box is created to place the spring and the ball in. The main concern is how to adjust the speed. There are four holes on left and right side to change the store energy for the spring in four locations. When the spring moves back with both hands, the rectangular slot and holes on both left and right side. The handle of the spring hold in the hole for location, then release. The ball will propel to the forward. Tripod is used to fix and adjust the height. It can be located or fixed up and down. The major is the leg can adjust the height for all users. According to this concept design, it is portable and easy to set up. The cost of the spring system is very low. Back to topConceptual 3: Final one is using spring lever system. (See in the drawing no.3)
¡@ This design was combination of spring and the lever mechanism. The holes in the handle are to adjust the speed that means when the clamp places the lowest hole. The spring will store more energy to propel the ball forward and the speed is fast. The spring is to store the energy. The wheels are made under the machine for easy transportation. Back to top.¡@ |
