![]() What is My Ministry?Since January 1997, I (Dan Singleton) have been a full-time missionary with Campus Crusade for Christ, an interdenominational Christian ministry on college campuses across the world. Our mission is "turning lost students into Christ-centered laborers." What Do I Do?For my first two years, I underwent training at the University of Central Florida, where I led a Bible study, trained students how to grow in and share their faith, and spoke at one of the weekly meetings. I also founded LX, a staff newsletter that serves all of our U. S. campus staff by sharing messages from our leadership and stories of God's work on our campuses. After we profiled a strategy used last December at the University of Arizona, several other campuses tried the same strategy and saw scores of people receive Christ. LX has since been converted into an e-magazine. In May 1999, I began managing the official Campus Ministry Web site, where students can download Bible studies, register for conferences and mission trips, and learn how to have a personal relationship with God. This site gets more than 2,000 hits every day and, just last month, 175 people viewed the page that shows how they can know God personally, staying an average of more than two minutes on that page. I have also been a part of mission trips to Russia, Central Asia, Mexico and Daytona Beach. How Can You be a Part? Please pray for my ministry here at the National Campus Office in Orlando and for the students I trained this summer in Daytona Beach. Also, my ministry is financed solely by the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and businesses who join me as ministry partners. If you would like to contribute financially to my ministry, you can do so by credit card right here. (This site is secure.) Please send me an e-mail too. I would love to hear from you and answer any questions you may have. Look below for some recent pictures from the Daytona Beach summer project. One of my action group guys,
Clay, competes in our Beach Olympics one weekend. Immediately after the
event, he saw four people trust Christ. Clemson director Barry Bouchillon
opens one of our weekly Monday night meetings. Our action group has dinner with
a girls' action group every Tuesday night. My guys are (back) Dan,
(front from left) Clay, me, Joe and Josh.
