On February 17, 1996, Bro. Mike told the people at the PICC-CCP Grounds fellowship to make a list on a piece of paper the names of the persons with whom we had grudge against. Obeying our servant-leader, I made a list which included the name of my husband. Then all together, we burned the pieces of paper as a sign that we had forgiven and forgotten the painful things that they had done to us. Praise God, four months later, my husband came to my place and expressed his desire to reconcile with me! I accepted him wholeheartedly and we began a new relationship. We are now living in peace and joy, with the guidance of the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah! Sis.
Leonora Lorenza I left my husband and had an affair with another man in my old, past life. For years, I lived without guilt nor showed any remorse to others or even to God for the kind of life I have chosen. One day, I happened to listen to the Word of God over the radio broadcast of DWXI which stated: "‘Food for the stomach and stomach for food’—but God will destroy them both. The body is not meant for sexual immorality, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body" (1 Corinthians 6:13). My senses were opened to the truth that I was living against His Will. I repented of all my sins, asked for God's forgiveness, and begged for His mercy to soften the heart of my husband so that he would forgive me for what I had done and accept me once again. Praise God, when I returned to my husband, he did not harbor any ill feelings towards me. Instead, he hugged and accepted me as if I had done nothing wrong! Indeed, nothing is impossible with God! Sis.
Beth Bella In 1991, my husband left me when he could no longer stand my snobbish and domineering attitude towards him. I was pregnant then, and because of too much self-pity and grief, I attempted to commit suicide several times. Invited by one of my friends, I attended a fellowship of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. I was touched by the Good News of Salvation which says: "When pride comes, then comes disgrace, but with humility comes wisdom" (Proverbs 11:2). I asked for God's forgiveness for my wrongdoings, and told Him my desire to change my life completely and live according to His Will. Praise God, He gradually changed my heart and I learned to be humble! Since then, I never missed attending our fellowships during which I asked God to also soften the heart of my husband and make him to return to us. Praise God, on Christmas Eve of 1996, my husband and I were reconciled! As a sign of gratitude to Him, I have dedicated my life serving Him through the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. Indeed, El Shaddai is alive now and forever! Sis.
Nida Mendez In 1982, my husband left our family and had a live-in affair with another woman. I became so bitter and angry with him. To earn a living for my children, I worked abroad. After a few years, I came home, set up a store which became the source of our livelihood. A year later, in December, I attended a prayer-meeting of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI. As I listened to the Word of God, I realized my shortcomings to God and to my husband. I repented of all my sins, asked for God's forgiveness, and accepted in my heart Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I also asked Him to unify our relationship, for deep in my heart, I had already forgiven him. One day, when I was trying to catch a bus for Bulacan, somebody tapped me on the shoulder. When I looked back, it was my husband. During our conversation, he was surprised at my cheerful attitude towards him despite what he had done to me and our children. I told him that I have already forgiven him, in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ! On the 17th of July 1990, after more than eight years, my husband returned to our family! Praise the Lord Jesus Christ for bringing back the unity of my family! Sis.
