When my husband left me, I had an affair with a married man and bore him a baby girl. In spite of this, I was lonely and did not know what to do with my life. Then one day in October 1994, I decided to commit suicide. But before I could do it, my eighteen-month old daughter brought me my Bible and opened it on the Epistle of St. James, 4:7-10, which says: "Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Come near to God and He will come near to you... Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up." At that moment, I felt the presence of God. The next day, through the invitation of a friend, I attended a fellowship of the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI.There,I was touched by the Word of God preached by the disciple. I repented of all my sins, asked for God's forgiveness, accepted in my heart Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and asked Him to heal me of my migraine, dysmenorrhea, sinusitis and chest pain and to give me the strength to do His will. |

In June 1996, I visited my relatives in the Philippines, where I attended the weekly Family Appointment with El Shaddai at the PICC-CCP Grounds, Pasay City. One of my prayer-requests was for family restoration. Praise God, the following day my husband came to my parents’ house. We talked things over, forgave each other, and decided to pick-up the broken pieces of our lives and restore our relationship with the help of El Shaddai! Now, God's love reign in our family! In my hopeless situation, I realized that only God could help me. I attended the El Shaddai DWXI-PPFI fellowship at the Reclamation Area in Pasay City in April 1993. As I listened to the Word of God from Bro. Mike, the Holy spirit convicted me of my sinfulness. I repented of all my sins, asked for God's forgiveness and accepted in my heart Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. I also asked Him to make my family be together again. To start a new life, I separated from my lesbian lover, took my children with me and went home, where we waited for the return of my husband. From then on, I have been attending our prayer-meetings, expecting God to perform a miracle in my life. When my husband learned
of my secret affair with a lesbian, he asked me to choose between the two
of them. I chose the latter, took my two children with me and lived with
her. After a while, my husband went to work abroad. Months later, he sent
us his pictures that was why our children were reminded of him. Then they
began asking me questions about their father. With so much regret for the
wrongdoings I had done to my husband, I wrote him a letter asking for his
forgiveness. However, he refused to forgive me.
