Oh dear. You know, in theory, a four month long summer vacation sounds like fun. In theory. In practice, however, I'm getting very, very bored. On the other hand, perhaps this boredom comes from not having done much in the past few days. Either way, I'm ready for September, or at least August.

I was t the office today, helping out because half the secretaries are on holiday. Getting paid is good, yes it is. Which is why I applied for a job yesterday, and may apply for a few more in the future. Well, until I get one, that is. I've been having little daydreams lately about working in a restaurant, so maybe I'll look into that.

So... news, huh? Well, I'm in pain, for one. Monday, during a daytime tv watchathon, I decided to do some sit-ups. I managed to do fourty (in four sets of ten, though, so I still suck), and then stretched out my legs three times. I felt wonderful, but yesterday I began to feel the repercussions of said stretching. My abs hurt like the devil everytime I try to stand up or lean back, and I can feel the muscles in my thighs with every step I take. I'm going to stretch out again tonight, though, in the hopes that repeated excercise will lessen the pain.

Uh, what else? Oh, I went to see About A Boy for the second time on Sunday, merely because I wanted to hang out with Ni and Jessa. That was fun. And I met with Chel, Kat and Tina (both from Queen's) last night. We went out for bubble tea on Cumberland, at this fancy little tea shop with ergonomic chairs and tables made by placing glass sheets on top of large plastic lights. It sounds weird, and it really was. But the bubble tea and the company was good. We talked about a lot of things: classes, moving into houses, movies, and the possibility of going to see Bob Dylan in August. That would be cool, though I'm beginning to think that I spend more money on concerts that I do on anything else. That's probably not wise. Besides that, however, I've pretty much just been sitting around at home daydreaming. I need a job.
