So I'm now in love with a pair of shoes. I've had a picture of shoes like these in my head for quite a while now, but I never had a hope of actually finding any to match the ones in my imagination. But then, today, I found them. Now all I have to do is find a store that carries them. Anyway, here they are:

Oooo! Dreamy, aren't they? I don't know what I would wear them with, but I love them. Let's be honest, though, if I had dreamy shoes like these I would either invent a new outfit to wear everyday with them or I'd buy shirts to match the shoes. You can't have dream shoes without a new dream wardrobe to go with them.

Anyway, I got two of my essays done so far this week, and I got two more pushed back to next week, so everything's smooth sailing. I had my last English History class today (yay!) as well as my last Modern British Lit class (boo! but I have him again next term for poetry, so yay!). And, although I really didn't mean to, I nearly fell asleep in both of them. I know, I'm so rude. But! I handed in my history paper, and my sentence study for modern, and got an essay back on which I got 81%. The highest grade was 86%. I'm a fucking genius.

Also, I had Shakespeare today, and I've proven myself to be so fantastically smart that I astound even myself. Not only did I point out some key perspectives on insanity in class (my area of expertise, if you will), but I asked a question that stumped the professor, then flattered him by asking for a reference letter (I need one to go on exchange), and then asked him for an extension for Friday's essay which he granted me without my giving him an excuse. I am the Queen of Academia.

On that note, back to my Russian essay. Ah, mon dieu.
