Reading:

which isn't so great, really.

Since today is a non-thinking day (well, the latest in a summer filled with non-thinking days), here is a list of sorts that could provide you with a psychological profile for me. Or it could be some form of post-modernist art. Or simply an inventory. Or a fun virtual Kim's game! You choose. It's always up to you.

Things I have carried in my bag this week:
- brown cellular phone, on
- box of tic tacs, white, opened
- letter from old English exchange partner, read
- half-written reply to said exchange student
- decorated envelope, empty
- 2 black Pilot Fineliner pens
- toothbrush, red, cheap
- tube of Extra Whitening Arm & Hammer toothpaste
- Marceline Caillou novel by Sempé
- Le Petit Prince novel by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
- The Great Gatsby novel by F. Scott Fitzgerald
- travel bottle of Bath & Body Works body lotion, in Bergamot Coriander
- jar of Philosophy Kiss Me lip gloss, pink
- red and white pill case, with Tylenol and various other pain-defying drugs
- silk printed change purse, with small men's leather wallet inside

My bag is quite heavy, but I feel confident in saying that everything I need to survive for quite a long time is inside. Especially since I seem to be forgetting some of my French, so even the Sempe book would last me a while despite all the big, pretty pictures.

Speaking of bags, what do we think of ebay? Is it trustable? Should I trust it? I don't know. I've never done it before, but I have my eye on several items (bag-like items that are too shamefully trendy to admit to here), and, I don't know, I'm not sure if I trust them, these ebay people. It seems such an impersonal way to purchase things. So hard, so clinical, so computerised. Do I dare?

And speaking of that, peaches are in season here, and Jessa's mum has been trying to get me to eat them for the past few weeks. How nice of her! And how yummy for me!
