Our School
The name of our school is Glen Eden Intermediate, situated in Auckland, near the top of New Zealand (a small country to the south east of Australia).
We have lots of really exciting things in our school such as technology classes where you can work with electronics, hard materials, cooking, sewing, art and information technology.
There are about 760 students in our school which are split up into 6 syndicates, each syndicate having 4 classes.
Our principal's name is Mr Terry Hewetson and we have two deputy princapals Mrs Linda Mayow and Ms Maree Stavert, they are all very nice and supportive people.
In our school there is a considerable amount of clubs, groups and teams some of them are chess, gymnastics and culture group, we are also successful in lots of other sports.
We have a television studio where we create our own news programme which is called Friday Flashback.
Our schools vision statement is Glen Eden Intermediate will be a dream school where everybody will love to learn.
Every term our school runs 10 extra-curricular courses which usually include pottery, electronics, motors, spanish and computer programming.
