| The entire Adventurers Team has finally found the ruins of the ancient
jungle temple. But to get to it they have to pass a deep gorge with a wild
river. Who dares to pass the old bridge? Once on the other side they will
face a number of surprises. Among these are a scary skeleton and deadly
flying spears.
This set is worth alone because of the unique boat. The falling down
skeleton is very clever. It would have been nice with a little more vegetation.
Too much makes it difficult to play with. The rather ugly car has a tendency
to fall apart. This can remedied by replacing the 2x8 plate with a 2x10
plate and adding a number of 1x2 and 2x2 plates to make the chassis more
sturdy.
The temple is constructed by modules, and the top part is removeable
for easy access to the inner part of the temple. This set was the first
to use this new baseplate, that is symmetrical in both directions. The
palm tree is of the new type widely know as "Palm Tree Jr". When I first
heard people flaming it, I thought that it could not be that bad. But it
really is! |
