This subtheme was introduced in 1999. The name comes from the 5986 Jungle Temple/Amazon Ancient Ruins even though the artwork looks like being from the Maya culture. | |||||
| It takes the Adventurers to the Amazon Jungle to
find the
invaluable Ye-Gou and the famous Sun Disc. It introduces several new
pieces
as well as two new bad guys: Señor
Palomar and Rudo Villano. New
is
also Achu the keeper of the ancient treasures.
The number of sets is small compared to both the Egyptian
Desert Subtheme and the Dino Island
Subtheme
because only one promotional set has been released. And the 1271
is even identical to 5905. New pieces includes a spider with its web,
two
pieces for the Zeppeliner and the headgear for the Jungle Ruler. The Amazon Jungle Subtheme consists of the following 8 sets: |
