Forms
Hi there, I visited your site from a
posting at a forum. I saw your reply to someone needing help with forms. I was
also having difficulty creating a form and I hope you don't mind that I used
your form as a template guide. It isn't complete just yet but it has made it so
much easier. I wasn't completely sure that I filled in your form as at the time
I was also editing my effort online and got into a bit of a mess. I'm not well
versed with Lego but found your site quite fascinating and interesting, you are
to be congratulated. I wish you well.
Shamus
Thanks for the positive comments :) . I really don't mind if you used my form
template, because they can get tricky... Yup, that's me, always answering people
on HTML Q&A message boards. Well, thanks again for stopping by! Your're
welcome!

Lego Island hints
& cheats
Is it true that there are cheats / hints
for Lego Island? My friend said he saw a few posted somewhere, but can't remember
them. Do you know any? -Greg
Yes, there sure are a couple of "easter-eggs" in the game
Lego Island:
Dancing trees
and flowers:
During game play press Z + T.
Listen to radio during credits:
During game play press Esc. Turn on the radio and click on the red brick when
prompted to exit.
Flight Mode:
Enter the elevator in the Information Center. Allow one minute to elapse while
in the elevator. Then, use the cursor keys to fly around the town.
Play as the Brickster:
Start the hospital mission, but do not save anybody. Wait a few minutes until
you are arrested then you will become The Brickster.

Lego Giraffe
Hello, first I'd like to say I like your site it was very organized and had
plenty of information. Next, HELP ME =) I'M looking for a design pattern for a
giraffe made of Legos. I don't have any ideas to make one on my own. Let me know
if you can help.
Thank you,
Brian P. Hartman
Hi! Thanks
for stopping by the site. Try drawing the layout. I usually grab a piece of
paper and pencil and imagine how I could build it. Try to build your Giraffe in
layers. Make cross-sections, or "skin" by "skin" technique.
Its to start with, say, 4 bricks as the feet, and build on top, adding 4 more,
like a layer. Then to keep on going until you have 5-6 layers. Then create the
body. Find a platform, and pile bricks around and on top to make it oval shaped.
Once you have made a type of "boat" with the bricks, build the other
half, like 2 egg shells. Assemble the two halves, and you have a small
round-shaped sphere. Next, the head. The way you create it is up to you. I like
to be detailed. Once done, simply add a row of bricks and extend it to make a
neck. Assemble the head, neck, body and legs together, and a giraffe should be
roughly created. Now that you have an approximate model, it makes it easier to
draw the way your "real" giraffe will be. Take note of
corrections and techniques you could use, or things you could change. No matter
which way you create it, the final product should look great. Hope I helped!
