  • Age of Disaster

The darkest time came upon Walt during one of the happiest times of his life. On December 15, 1966, Walt died of acute circulatory collapse, caused by lung cancer, at the age of 65. The next day, a private service was held by his family at Little Church of the Flowers of Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California. He left behind a wife and two children, along with numerous film studios... and a lifetime of memories. Over his lifetime, Walt Disney received a record of 30+ Academy Awards and has been honored as one of America's most successful entrepreneurs. The magic he created has been an inspiration to thousands and will be forever unforgotten. His popularity had never been forgotten when Walt's dream had came upon our lives.

In memory of Walt Disney, let us remember all the joy and happiness he created in this world.

"All we ever intended for him, or expected of him, was that he should continue to make people everywhere chuckle with him and at him. We didn't burden him with any social symbolism, we made him no mouth piece for frustrations or harsh satire. Mickey was simply a little personality assigned to the purposes of laughter."
