Teacher Ari's educational leaderships skills enabled
him to evaluate the involved needs, the structure of
the group and the immediately confronting situation
in the relevant cultural environment he was teaching in: In Loudrijina, biggest Turkish Cypriot town, while people prided themselves with their religion & roots, burials'd been according to a different religion, some could only speak Greek ~ there too teacher Orhan Ari not only school pupils but also the people educated -as his wife Suzan e.g. cut patterns for flags, explained, e.g., that not 'fortnightly' but 'every other day' meant words on medication. His charisma enabled teacher Ari indeed the cultural environment itself to change. |
