A print copy has just been released. The fifth edition should rightly be renamed The Genealogist’s and Historian’s Address Book, because it now includes many more primarily historical resources, such as the New York State town and village historians and many museum libraries.
             The book is available from distributor, Ingram Book Company. Also from the book’s publisher, Genealogical Publishing Company, 1001 North Calvert Street, Baltimore, MD 21202 at $49.99 plus $4.00 shipping.
            You may order it directly from me at $49.99 postpaid, but delivery may take up to two weeks, since the book is being produced using print‑on‑demand technology.

Subscription Information

Purchase of The Genealogist’s Address Book as either an e-book or a CD-ROM entitles you to
four full versions of the database, sent to you via e-mail on a quarterly basis. For example, if you
pay for the e-book any time in January, you will receive receive the current (January) version
immediately, and the updated versions on or about the first of the month in April, July, and
October, and if you pay for the e-book in February, you will receive the February, May, August,
and November versions, and so forth (unless you request otherwise).

If you purchase the CD-ROM (5.3 version) from a bookstore or society, you should cut out the
UPC bar code from the printed paper cover (under the plastic) and send it with your e-mail
address to PO Box 58, Woodsboro, MD 21798, and you will receive four more quarterly
versions, beginning in the month following our receipt of your proof of purchase.

The database is about 7MB. If you can’t accept e-mail attachments of that size, a zipped file
(about 5MB) is available.

Significant changes in the data are posted monthly on our Updates page (usually about 1000
items per month).

If you have additions or corrections, we’d be pleased to hear from you, so we can keep the list as
current as possible.
