Mt. Lemmon is located in the Santa Catalina mountains just north of Tucson, Arizona. Mt. Lemmon is known around the country and the world for its crags, which are amenable to climbing year-round. This is where I did my first climbing - I didn't realize I had it so good! The rock is grantitic gneiss - tough on the fingertips, but great friction for the shoes, and the views are incredible.
