English Language Program

  With a staff of 6 native English speakers, Sports01.com’s Snowboard Camp is a 5 day total English immersion camp.  The camp is broken down into 3 hours of intensive English instruction and 4 hours of snowboard instruction from three level 2 snowboard instructors.  Not only will students have the opportunity to learn English in a formal environment, but they will also have the opportunity to practice the English they learn while learning essential snowboarding skills.  All of the instructors have formal teaching backgrounds, some of which include some of the finer institutes in Korea such as BCM. 

The instructors are of the highest character and qualifications and have vowed to make the camp a fun and challenging experience.  Students will learn conversation, frequently misused words, current events, reading comprehension, and TOEIC skills.

After 5 days the students should be able to introduce themselves and others, express gratitude, apologies, and comprehension, explain their interests, learn questioning patterns, ask favors, express positive and negative responses, make and arrange appointments and invitations, as well as proper telephone etiquette.  In addition, they will learn to look for key words in reading comprehension and express their opinions on current events.  There will also be a section every day covering TOEIC tips.  We look forward to making this a learning as well as fun experience for students to grow.  The program includes the following:

• Ages 13 - 18 (Other ages will be considered on a case by case basis)

• Six day camp Monday through Friday from December 18th to February 10th.

• Snowboard and English instruction taught by a highly qualified foreign staff.

• 3 hours of intensive English and 4 hours of Snowboard instruction per day, as well as a total immersion environment.

• The price includes: All meals, lodging, trip to Jongdong Jin, snowboard and boot rental, transportation, insurance, lift ticket, and all instruction and materials.
