Can we call the maid if we need additional service?If you should need additional cleaning, just call our cleaning service, Virginia Rodrigues, from the contact list and let her know when you would like her there and she will try to accommodate you. The cost is $125.00. She has the key code. If you are out, just leave a check on the counter made out to Virginia Rodrigues. Back to Top
The ______ is not working or we can't figure out how to use it, what should we do?In the kitchen cupboard above the phone, you will find a binder of product information guides for most of the electronics and kitchen appliances. Hopefully you will find the literature you need to solve the problem or work the device. Upstairs in the loft bedroom/office is another binder and accordion file with other product and warranty info. If it is a serious problem like a leak, broken window, etc. check the contact list and call the appropriate person. If they can not come out right away, we will arrange for a property manager to come to the house. Back to Top
Is there an outdoor shower?There is a large outdoor shower with two shower heads. One with a hand held shower head to easily wash children (and dogs). The shower is turned off during the winter season, but will be on from June through September. Please use it to wash off sand, etc. Hang your beach towels on the clothes line there to dry. May we bring our pet?Upon approval of owners and with an additional $100.00 deposit. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or beds. Please DO NOT leave your pet unattended and LOOSE in the house. Check the 'Dog' box in the garage for water bowls, toys, and other pet items. There is a large dog crate in the downstairs utility room and a folding fence (usually stored in the garage) that makes into a small enclosed area. You are welcome, encouraged, to use them. (I suggest setting up the fence in the sunroom or kitchen). There is a gate at the top of the deck stairs if your pet prefers to be outside on the deck taking in the view. A dog pooper scooper is hanging in the garage by the large 'car' doors. Please clean up after your pet. The closest Vet is Brewster Veterinary Hospital on 50 Underpass Road (508) 896-2540. Do you have any recommendations for local attractions, events, restaurants, etc.?The home page includes a link to Cape Cod Life. You should find lots of information there. In addition, the entryway bookcase holds a basket of local brochures, guide books, etc. Back to Top
