| | Here is the basic information about
the house, contact numbers, house rules and frequently asked questions. Please
copy this information and bring it with you. Feel free to call or email us with
any additional suggestions or questions.

The house is on a security system. The alarm will be turned off
just prior your arrival and reset after your stay by our property manager.
To rent the house, please follow these steps:
Check the dates on the calendar you would like to reserve the house. Call
or email Vicki Dempsey
to confirm the dates. A lease agreement will be faxed, emailed, or mailed to you. A deposit for half the rent will be required at the
time you make a reservation. Sign the rental agreement, and include it with the deposit. The remainder of the rent and security
deposit is due four(4) weeks before your scheduled vacation week(s). Address and directions to the house plus front door key lock code will be sent as soon as the second half of the rent and the deposit are received.
Cancellation policy is addressed in the rental contract.
While you're there . . .
- Have fun; enjoy your time there. The house is fully equipped. You will, of
course, need to bring any fresh food
you need, but there should be plenty of staples. Use any of the food
staples in the house.
Please replace anything that is used up or gets low.
- Treat the house as you would your own . Please clean up any
spills, replace or repair any damage, let us, or Christine Dempsey at Housebuddies, on the contact
list, know if there are any
problems, so that we can help. Your deposit will be returned
within 2 weeks assuming there are no damage costs or losses to deduct.
- Beach towels are in the house for your use. They are located in the bottom of the white sunroom cabinet. Bath towels are in the linen closets. REMEMBER: You will need to rent or provide your own bed sheets.
- The main control to the thermostat, heat and air conditioning, is in the living room next
to the fireplace. It is climate controlled automatically during a 24 hour period. Anything else that
looks like a thermostat is NOT- they are alarms that detect and report heat
loss in winter- just leave them set the way they are.
- Trash is picked up on Monday and Thursday usually before noon. Trash cans are in an outside bin near to the garage. Service is
cancelled off season, unless the house is rented.
- If you should need it, the hose attachment to the central vacuum is in the entry
hall closet. It will come on automatically with a good push into the small,
round, wall vacuum plug openings in most rooms. In addition there is a small portable vacuum in the hall closet. Mop, duster, broom, etc. are
on a hook in the garage. Most cleaning supplies are above the washer/dryer.
Some are above the kitchen sink, and a bottle of Windex is in each bathroom.
At the end of your stay . . .
- Put all dirty dishes in dishwasher and run. You can leave the dishes in
the dishwasher or if time permits, please put them away.
- Bring home or throw out all perishable food.
- If you've rented sheets, remember to leave them out for the linen service
company to pick up.
- If you've used beach towels, wash, dry and put away the night before. Please start a load of bath towels before leaving. You may leave a load in the dryer. Please leave any other dirty towels (2nd load if you have one) in the hall bathroom.
Leave the garage door opener on the kitchen table.
- Please close and lock any lower windows and sliders. To lock the front door, press the lock icon button on the front door key pad. Please test to be sure it is locked.
