Hate and control, instruments of religion are used (and rather effectively) to instigate violence in those brainwashed, those who have donated their minds to the infestation if god. Religion is the root of fanaticism, all religion. No one is free. The Christians have their Jews, the Jews have Islam, and Muslims have Hindus, who have Muslims.

Innumerable wars have (for want of a better reason) been brought about by religion. Very real discrimination can be witnessed everyday, everywhere based on the flimsy pretext of religion. Millions worship fearing divine wrath more than death. Suicide bombings guided by religion and pure hate are more than common now. People are willing to bequeath their existence to the 'glory' of their faith in order to attain a seat in heaven (?) beside the sadistic god that demands such human sacrificial offerings. There are numerous wars and incidents of violence, so if there is one true one why doesn't god show his/her true godly self instead of allowing all this bloodshed.

God demands absolute, unquestioning faith in religious dogma, much like totalitarianism. We are supposedly under constant observation in a 1984 like situation.

Let me attempt to explain god if I may be so bold. Religions evolved separately and so have different gods. We have the monotheistic versions and the polytheistic versions. All to explain different natural phenomena. Some were content to have one god to attribute all inexplicable events to; others found it better to have multiple gods. God has always been a large employer and has millions on his payroll. He enacts his power through a select few priests, bishops, monks the list goes on. These individuals have been the real powermongers through the ages. They will continue to do so, big brother will continue to watch us from is lofty perch and we will continue to be enslaved by our beliefs.

It's sick the number of people who prostitute their minds. Sit up people, rationalize, and think for yourself. Do not accept what you are told.
