Foundation tidbits and future projects

We are dedicated to helping people who have been diagnosed with Leukemia, Lymphoma or a related Blood Cancer. The sad fact is that Leukemia is still one of the largest disease killers of children in this country.
Our primary goal at this time is to help families who need financial and emotional support by holding fund-raisers and accepting donations. Since we are a non-profit corporation, all donations over $25 will be considered tax deductible and you will receive a receipt for your personal taxes.
Our next project will be a 'Parent Pamphlet.' A guide to getting through the first few months of a cancer diagnoses. Answers for the questions parents have during the hard times. This project will take time and effort from everyone.

On Sunday May 23, 1999 PWLF board treasurer Richard Wilsek, will run the Rock 'n' Roll Marathon in San Diego, Ca., along with long time PWLF supporter Annette Miller Richard and Annette run, in memory of Paigé Wilsek.
