The City College of San Francisco office of CalWORKs Education & Training is funded by the California State legislature through the Chancellor's Office of the California Community Colleges.

The CalWORKs and TANF funding is limited to use for

• program coordination
• curriculum development & redesign
• job development
• child care
• work study
