About the poet. . .
and has been writing for most of his career. He holds degrees in English, science, and education and has taught all of these subjects. For ten years, Eaden worked in industry: He started as a medical writer for a major pharmaceutical company then became the Senior Information Scientist and, finally, Assistant to the Director of Clinical Research. In all of these functions, he was responsible for authoring or editing much of the printed material produced; this included reports and articles reflecting clinical research results and educational brochures produced for physicians and other health professionals. Now he finally has the luxury of writing for himself. After years of commuting from Connecticut to Manhattan, he decided to change to a career which would allow him more time for creative pursuits. He became a teacher and, eventually, Supervisor of Instruction and Director of Special Education for a New Jersey school district. In his spare time, he owned and operated three restaurants and a resort campground and traveled extensively in Europe. Eaden loves the sea and lives on the coast year-round, spending part of his time in southern Jersey and the rest on the east coast of Florida where he also has a home. |
