THE OPINIONS OR FEELINGS OF APOSTATES MAY HAVE CHANGED. SOME MAY HAVE EVEN EMBRACED ISLAM AGAIN. PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND!

What do we wish for?

“A collective of apostates able to express their beliefs openly and without reprisal simply because this forms an inerrant human right: to make decisions about your own beliefs without punitive results. ”– Pazuzu bin Hanbi, UK

“I wish lots of them would tell about their apostasy and encourage muslims to find out the truth about islam. Everyone should have the possibility to leave islam without consequences all over the world. Different organizations and governments should help and support apostates who have faced problems or threats in their own countries. ”– Maddalena, Finland

“Unite, come out of the closet, expose Islam's intolerance, and at the same time counter the insidious conversion efforts of evangelical Christians. ”– Jim, USA

“There is the council for ex-muslims. But tighter and mower powerful bodies to protect these innocent like myself. More Media coverage and complete awareness. ”– Anonymous

“To be able to come out of the closet, and be able to live freely in the world without any fear of persecution, or ostracism from family members.”– Anonymous

“A coilition of apostates that speak out in publicly against islam. To put and end to those lies about it being peaceful, so that we can liberate those under the control of the false doctrine of Islam. ”– Anonymous, Canada

“Love and compassion with their families”– Anonymous, USA

“That ALL apostates must have the right to safety after their apostasy. Too many ex Muslims suffer after they've had all they can take of Islam.”– Drak, Australia

“Freedom,in their countries.”– loveandpeaceforeverything, Algeria

“Not sure.”– Anonymous

“I wish that more and more Apostates unite and speak up in public so that governments SEE them and HAVE TO ACT. The internet is great opportunity for apostates to speak up, but only interested people will 'hear' them. Ex-muslims have to be seen in the media all over the world and they have to be protected from radical muslims. ”– Peace4u, Germany

“More freedom to choose.”– Vivian

“Be left alone and their choice for apostasy respected.”– Malayfreethinker

“For them (Ex-Muslims) to find the answers they seek.”– bonuke, USA

“That there will be more of them! And that all of them who live in islamic countries they will be able to move to a country with freedom of religion. That they/we don't make their point clear in a hateful way but manage in convincing the muslims in peaceful, rational way.”– Friend, Finland

“I wish to see them strong. There are many who are strong, but there are many who are not. An organization would be wonderful to help funnel our strength.”– Anonymous, USA

“More will apostise, more will get on the Internet for support and kinship with other Apostates. More of the same death, fear, and violence for some, unfortunately. Some will still be forced to live a lie and never be their true selves. More will also be able to recover and live life as they wish, in the open. (more of the same, I guess) ”– Eva, USA

“Freedom to choose their own religion at will.”– Elixx

“As much as other people want to be respected for choosing their religious faith, we should be respected for our choice to reject a faith. Thus, Apostates should fight the hate and discrimination. Apostates should be able to live a normal life without any discriminations and persecutions.
Countries like Canada should realize that we are not hate-mongers, but we are just a bunch of people who have seen some Muslims do bad things in other countries and that need to bolster due to our choice to leave Islam based on Festinger's cognitive dissonance theory.” – Murtad Mama, Canada

“Freedom to choose our religion, without having to face persecution.”– Adam, Malaysia

“Seeing us freed from prejudice, threat and lead a normal life”– Juniper, Malaysia

“I would like to see apostate support groups formed. Internet forums are a step in the right direction but I think some people like me require personal contact with other apostates.”– Ben Rukhsana, Britain

“Freedom for them to express their beliefs in public without fear of harassment from Muslims. Braver Apostates should come out and speak more against Islam.” - Sheraz Malik, USA

“To be left alone.” – Ron Jeremy, Malaysia

“They must enjoy the same freedom as apostates of other religion do. They must not live in fear of losing their lives for exercising their inalienable fundamental right on the selection of a religion (or no religion).” – Abul Kasem, Australia

“support groups, where they can share feelings, and maybe those ex-Muslims who do not fear reprimand, could speak out to the public, instead of hiding in cyberspace”– Abu Lahab, USA

“Happy lives in freedom.”– Ampbreia, USA

“I would like to see an organized apostate community dedicated to taking the true face of Islam to the world community (and especially to Leftist political movements). I would like to see such an action because the freedoms, liberties, and equality liberal movements support are diametrically opposed to what Islam stands for. Currently, only the conservatives stand against Islam - and that stand seems to arise out of a desire to maintain social, religious, political power; nobody's freedom is a part of that particular equation (and causes me grave concern).”– Bean, USA

“I think websites where those like myself can remain anonymous if you choose to, that share stories, scientific proofs etc. (like Ali Sina's) where others like myself can relate to. This gave me the courage to be honest with myself as before I would never allow myself to question Islam... it was unthinkable. However when I discovered there were many others who had the same doubts or found inconsistencies in Islam - I was actually relieved and found the courage to accept my own feelings of apostasy.” – Anonymous

“I have no expectations of the future.” – Amin, Canada

“I hope that many Malays will believe in Jesus and be allowed to worship him in Malaysia.”– Anonymous

“Active movement to get people OUT OF ISLAM; exposure of true facts about Islam.” – Hale, USA
