Sky is Puppy Sirius' sister.  She was raised by an 11 yr. old boy, Tony, who lives in Macungie, Pennsylvania, with his parents, Tony Sr. and Donna, and his younger brother, 9 yr. old Alex. Sky joined the family on July 8, 2002 and stole their hearts.  She received her call-back from The Seeing Eye and returned to them for her formal training on July 23, 2003. Sky is the second Seeing Eye pup the family has had.  They have recently received their third pup, Izzy, who is being raised by Alex.
	During the time that Sky was with the family, she was lovingly cared for and trained by Tony Jr.  Like Brian and Sirius, they belonged to a local Puppy Club, North Paws Seeing Eye Puppy Club, and have gone on many outings together. Tony says Sky is a wonderful pup, very loving , affectionate, devoted, intelligent and a fast learner.

In these pictures taken at a recent Lehigh University basketball game, Sky rests under Tony's seat.  While at the game with their Puppy Club, they were able to meet up with Sontag, a brother of Sirius and Sky.

Sky has graduated from the Seeing Eye and has been placed with a 43-yr old woman, who lives on a farm in Canada.  Although Tony Jr. and the rest of his family miss Sky terribly, they are so very proud of her and are happy she is now fulfilling her life's calling as a Dog Guide for the blind.

Sontag is the brother of Sirius and Sky.  His puppy raiser is a member of the South Paws Puppy Club in Pennsylvania.

Izzy, another Seeing Eye pup, is being raised by 9 yr. old Alex. Like his brother, Tony, he and his pup will be training with and going on outings with the North Paws Seeing Eye Puppy Club.  This is part of the training the pups get from their puppy raisers.  Puppy raisers are responsible for providing their pups with lots of love and attention and to domesticate and socialize the pup through the many outings the puppy clubs go on. Izzy is the half-sister of Sirius, Sky and Sontag.  All of them have the same father, Ethan, another graduate of the Seeing Eye Puppy Program. 8/5/04 Donna, Alex's mother, tells me that Izzy is almost ready to return to the Seeing Eye for his formal training.  The family has taken on another pup, Jordane.  They say she is large and 'in-charge' and keeps them on their toes!
