Okay, let's quit these technological terms. Welcome. The Yu-gi-Oh page is very helpful to most people. Whether they're a duelist, a collector, or just someone who wants to know about, well, Yu-Gi-Oh. Here, I'll prove it. If you're a duelist you can check out the deck construction page by scrolling down and clicking the appropriate link. Duel Monsters supposedly started some 5 thousand years ago, in ancient Egypt. It involved sorcerers, and, of course, the pharaoh Yami, himself. In the beginning the monsters were on a rampage destroying everything in there way. The people came to the pharaoh to ask for help. The pharaoh then used a spell to lock away the beasts in tablets of stone. However, in the future evil sorcerers found out how to control the beasts and they set them free. The villagers once again, came to the pharaoh for help. The pharaoh used his powers to lock away all power, including his, away in seven items. With this the villagers were saved.

Now to the present time. An archeologist group goes to Egypt to start a dig. What the hieroglyphics (Ancient Writing) shown on the wall were pictures of what are now called Duel Monsters a trading card game invented by Maximillion Pegasus. During this exciting search a person by the name of Grampa Motto, finds a box containing golden puzzle pieces. When the search ends Grampa Motto gives the box and the puzzle pieces to his grandson Yugi Motto.

This is where it gets intresting, bt it's long so I'll sum it up for you. Yugi puts together the puzzle and iturns out it's not a regular puzzle at all. It's the millenium puzzle, on of the seven millenium items. Let's fast forward a year. Now it seems everybody wants it last year Pegasus himself forsced Yugi to enter a tournament, and during that tournament an evil spirit within Bakura(one of Yugi's friends)'s millennium item the millennium ring) tries to win it from him in a duel. When he gets to the finals and chooses to have a match against Pegasus to save his and grandfather's soul he finds he's risking his own. Now, a evil spirit controlling a person named Merik uses the millennium rod to control the minds of people and turn them into slaves of his and make them challenge Yugi to duels for his puzzle. And now, he's in the finals of another tournament and he has to face Merik's evil soul himself, and his egyptian god card and then battle Kaiba and Kaiba's god card. Talk about tough luck!
