Spider-Man Issues from October, 2000

The Amazing Spider-Man # 22

In the Calvary Cemetery, in Queens, Eddie Brock (Venom) was visiting the thomb of his recently died wife, blaming Spider-Man for her death and promised he would pay for it, when somebody in the shadows interromped him. He changed to Venom and attacked the strange, but the latter won the fight and took the alien away from Brock.

At long last it began an in-depth exploration of the Senator Ward story, in a three-part tale that would finally solve his mystery!

On the domestic front, the ties between Glory Grant, Randy Robertson and Peter Parker were tightening.

Spider-Man defeated a gang of high-tech super terrorists who were fighting against the police.

Ward's animosity towards Detective Arthur Stacy growed deeper as he targeted both Jill and Paul for death!

Finally, It was revealed that Senator Stewart Ward was the strange who took the simbiote away from Venom, and intended to use it to learn how to have a trully simbiotic relationship, because Ward was sharing his body with an alien life form, a kind of virus.

PPSM#22 Having had a chunk bitten out of him by Venom, the remaining days of Flint Marko's life were literally like sand in an hourglass!

And Sandman blamed our wall-crawling hero for his pitiful plight!

It was their strangest struggle ever as a disintegrating Sandman attempted to bury Spider-Man once and for all, and ended up mixing himself with the sand of a beach.

It was the fiery finale as Spider-Man and Doctor Octopus finally let loose in an emotionally charged, no-holds-barred slugfest!

Wrecked by guilt over the tragic death of Captain George Stacy, Peter Parker was ready to let his pent-up rage and grief explode!

Equally angry was the deadly Doctor Octopus, who was reached his breaking point over being branded a coward!

And when these two arch-foes clash it was very, very personal!

In one of the ickiest stories ever, Mattie winded up stitched inside the villain known as Flesh! And as Spider-Woman's powers drained away, we learnt the awful origins of Flesh and Bones!

Finally it was presented how Flesh and Bones were related to the demented duo named Itch and Scratch!

Spider-Girl faces impossible odds when she's attacked by the Savage Six.

It really was time for May to yell "Mayday!", as Mr. Abnormal, Killerwatt, Dragon King, Sabreclaw, Raptor and the fearsome Funny Face formed an unholy alliance!

It was showed who was the mysterious figure behind this assemblage of evil and what happened to Spider-Girl in the surprise cliffhanger ending.

This issue changed our heroine-forever!
