Someone was targeting those present at the experiment that gave Peter Parker his powers, and even Doctor Octopus fell down on his hands. Will the powers of Spider-Man be enough to go one-on-one with him?
And what about those mysterious phone calls who have continued to annoy Mary Jane? I have missed this issue, then this is all I know about the story! - FN |

Last issue Venom returned...and what about Carnage?!
Venon invaded the Manhattan Correctional Facility and, after a fight with lots of security guards, he entered in Carnages's cage, took his simbionte, ate it and evaded, leaving Cletus Kasady in suffering. At last, Peter Parker and Mary Jane had finally got to spend a quiet evening at home... until Venom striked again, kidnapping, J. Jonah Jameson. The fearsome fiend took the panicked publisher to the scene of Eddie Brock's near suicide, the top of a church. The web-slinger came to the rescue, fought with all his forces, but he was defeated by an stronger Venon. Because the Carnage's simbionte he had ate was trying to go out of Venon's body, he left, promising he would come back and get to both of them, any time he would want. Spider-Man lied flat on his back at Jonah's feet, who, at long last, had the opportunity to unmasked Spidey. At that moment, at home, Mary Jane recieved another stalking phone call, and cryed out loud: "Peter!" No more highlights are done about Jonah unmasking Spider-Man, or not. It was the end. |
This WEBSPINNERS new three-part story is set in modern continuity!
Chameleon, disguised as Peter, visited his apartment, met Aunt May and answered a phone call from the real Peter, who was far from the place. He was driving Spider-Man absolutely insane, because poor wall-crawler doesn't know at first who he was. It's a strange psychological thriller that examines both what makes Peter Parker tick and what lies behind the many masks of Spidey's first adversary. |
