Two
fun dinners are being planned for those of you who will be in the
area on August 1st (the night before the concert). One will be held
in the Berkshires for those of you staying closer to Tanglewood.
Another will be held in Troy, New York, for those of your staying
at the Best Western Rensselaer Inn or anywhere in the Albany vicinity.
Plan on coming out for a fun night with Grobanites!

We will be seated in the Restaurant's Night Club room as a private party. The following menu will be served buffet style until 9:00 PM at which time the restaurant will open the club in which we are welcome to stay. A children's menu will be available and dietary needs will be accommodated.

Chicken Chassuer (Pan seared breast of chicken, mushrooms, tomato, fresh
basil & finished with Marsala wine sauce,) Top Sirloin of Beef carving
station, roasted red potatoes, green beans almondine, tarragon carrots,
mixed green salad, rolls & butter, dessert, coffee & tea
Cost is $20.18 tax and gratuity included
A Children's Menu is available and I will get a copy soon. It includes Hamburger, Cheeseburger, Chicken Strips, and Hotdog selections.

For those of you staying in and around Pittsfield or attending the dinner at the Brewery Friday night...there is a moose! It is a rather prominent feature of park square (with is really a rotary) in Pittsfield. It is among the statuary featured there. There is also a triceratops nearby! LOL!
Directions to The Brewery from the
Lenox area: Take routes 7 & 20 north to Pittsfield. It will be about
15 minutes. Just after catching a glimpse of the Triceratops (on your
right,) you'll enter the rotary (wave to the moose) and make your way
around so as to continue heading north. (Do not follow route 7 & 20
signs as they will direct you just to the east...you want to stay on the
northward tract down North Street.) It is a business
district. Proceed to the first set of lights (intersection of North and
Depot Streets) Take a left at the lights. The restauraunt is the second
building on the right down the hill. Parking is just past it and is free.
The restaurant hostess will recognize your party if you mention (what
else?) "Grobanites!"

NEW INFORMATION ABOUT THE FRIDAY NIGHT PARTY IN TROY
The party is now being held in an upper room at the Holmes & Watson Pub in Troy, NY 450 Broadway, Troy New York. It is only 1 & 1/2 blocks away from the hotel.
We will all walk over together about 8:00 PM or maybe a little earlier. We can have the room until midnight! We can have our skit, games, etc. there.....can't wait!! YAY!! PARTY time!!!!
We will be getting the cold buffet @ $13.00 per person plus whatever beverage you order. Coffee is free but soda pop is extra. PLEASE BRING CASH!!! 20 OR 25.00 SHOULD DO IT!!. For those wishing to do so can order food up to 10:00 pm or 10:30 pm.
