You will be within a 15 - 20 minute ride from Tanglewood by lodging in any of the following towns: Lee, Lenox, Pittsfield, Stockbridge, and West Stockbridge. We have booked over 30 rooms now. So the hotel reservations department would like people to start using their own credit cards to reserve the rooms. You can tell them you are part of the McDonald block of rooms and you should get the discounted rate. Let me know if you have any problems with that or questions: cmcdonald44@msn.com. Please e-mail me after you have done this as I continue to keep track of how many people will need transportation from Troy to Tanglewood.
There are a few people who have told me they have a room in Troy but the hotel does not have them down at all. Some had rooms but were not connected to our group which is #108. So you may want to just recheck for yourself to make sure they indeed have you down for a room. If you do not have a credit card to use and want to take one of the rooms I have reserved under my name or if I have previously told you I would do that for you...Will you refresh my memory PLEASE!!! Thanks so much.
There is about 15 Grobanites that are staying at our hotel that are going to see Yo YO Ma on Sunday night. Some are buying lawn tickets when they get there, some have shed tickets that we bought through Julia Meade in Texas. To my knowledge she is just bringing the tickets with her but you would have to e-mail her to make sure I have my information correct!!
Please remember that I am going to do the final signing up for rides at the PARTY (see Friday Night Festivities page). If you will not be there for the Party but still will need a ride to Tanglewood on Sat night, email me!!!! I am confident that we will have enough cars for riders. If not I have a couple of people who said they will make more than one trip - wonderful Grobanites that they are!!!! But there is plenty of room in the Hawthone Tent Parking area, so if you are able to rent a car, van, etc. PLEASE do!! THe Hotel is prepared to shuttle you from the Albany Airport, so here is the number again in case you have lost it: 518-274-3210. Tell them you are with the MCDonald group 108 and need to be picked up. They will tell you where to be to meet them!!

Database
Michele has started a database on the yahoo web site where everyone can detail their dates and times of arrival. Once everyone has entered their info, it should be helpful for people who are looking for rides to/from the airport....so if you haven't already done so, please enter your info.
