Just a little message. I made up most of these limit breaks so if you go bragging to someone about them they probably won't know what you're on about so don't blame me. Aeris 1-1: HEALING WIND: Aeris creates an encircling wind that restores a large amount of lost HP to herself and her friends. 1-2: SEAL EVIL: Purple lights fly into all of Aeris's opponents. This attack causes no damage but has the same effect as 'Stop' and 'Silence' on all of them. 2-1: BREATH OF EARTH: Streams of blue light wrap around the allies, curing status ailments. 2-2: FURY BRAND: Aeris waves her staff, causing blue lightning to hit herself and her allies, followed by yellow, circular lights. This will instantly max out the other characters' Limit gauges. 3-1: PLANET PROTECTOR: Stars rotate around Aeris and her friends as the screen turns yellow, making them invincible for a short while. 3-2: PULSE OF LIFE: Aeris kneels and prays; every ally's status ailments are cured and they gain back all lost HP and MP. 4: GREAT GOSPEL: Rain falls upon Aeris and her companions. It is replaced by a bright sky where three angels can be seen floating around. All allies have their HP and MP restored, and are made invincible for a short time. Barret 1-1: BIG SHOT: Collecting energy, Barret fires a huge fireball at one opponent. 1-2: MIND BLOW: Similar in appearance to Big Shot, Barret launches a ball of azure energy at one opponent. While it inflicts no damage, it completely drains that enemy of MP. 2-1: GRENADE: Barret fires an invisible shot that explodes into a huge hemisphere of fire that damages all opponents. 2-2: HAMMER BLOW: Barret dashes forward and punches one enemy as purple waves emanate from his arm. If it misses, this attack causes no damage, but if it hits, the enemy is instantly killed. 3-1: SATELLITE BEAM: Barret locks on to his enemies and calls down beams of blue light to fry the opposition. 3-2: UNGERMAX: Using his weapon like a machine gun, Barret fires repeated rounds of ammunition at all opponents. 4: CATASTROPHE: Steam erupts from Barret's weapon as he leaps into the air and fires an earth-scorching beam of yellow light at all his enemies. Cait Sith 1-1: DICE: Cait's stuffed mog throws several dice to the ground. The score that is rolled determines how much damage the targeted enemy will receive. 1-2: SLOT: A slot machine appears. Depending on what you pick, a different result will occur: -- 3 bars = Cait Sith randomly calls upon a summoned monster. -- 3 crowns = Six toy soldiers appear and fire at all enemies. -- 3 stars = A mog (from the 'Summon Chocobo & Mog spell) appears and does a dance that completely restores each members' HP and MP. -- 3 hearts = A cat-girl appears and all allies have a 100% hit rate (no chance of missing) for the rest of the battle. -- 3 mogs = Cait's allies disappear and his mog grows twice as large, gaining 9999 HP and 999 MP. In this form, he can do anything but use Limit Breaks, and his attacks cause more damage. When the battle is over, everyone's current HP and MP drop to 1/3rd their former amount. -- 3 faces = All enemies facing you are instantly killed. This ALWAYS works against any enemy. -- 2 faces, bar = All allies are instantly killed. There's no way to avoid this, even with the help of accessories like the Safety Bit or an Enemy Skill such as Death Force. -- Any other combination = A random object is dropped on one enemy, inflicting physical damage. It can be a Hell House, Debu Chocobo, Magic Hammer, icicles, a boulder, or a Comet 2-like meteor attack. Just like when you attack normally, it's possible to hit for extra damage (like making a critical hit attack Cid 1-1: BOOST JUMP: Cid performs a diving slash to one enemy. 1-2: DYNAMITE: Using his cigarette, Cid lights a stick of dynamite and tosses it at his enemies, causing a damaging explosion. 2-1: HYPER JUMP: Cid spins into the sky and drives his weapon into the ground, which is covered in a blue light. Upon pulling it out, all enemies are damaged. 2-2: DRAGON: A serpent-like dragon flies from behind Cloud and encircles one enemy before flying away. HP and MP stolen from the target are given to Cid. 3-1: DRAGON DIVE: Cid leaps in the air and comes down with his weapon 6 times, creating a column of multi-coloured energy each time he lands that causes damage. 3-2: BIG BRAWL: Cid pokes and impales opponents with his weapon 8 times while dust rises around him. 4: HIGHWIND: Cid calls down a barrage of missiles from the Highwind to strike all enemies repeatedly. Cloud 1-1: BRAVER: Cloud dashes forward and performs a diving slash against one opponent. 1-2: CROSS SLASH: Cloud's three slashes create a symbol over his enemy. When it fades away, that enemy is hit once. It also has a chance of paralysing the hit foe. 2-1: BLADE BEAM: Cloud sends a wave of green energy at the targeted foe. When it hits, smaller waves shoot outward to hit each remaining foe, although the damage is less than the first, big wave. 2-2: CLIMHAZZARD: Cloud sticks his sword into an enemy and then yanks it upwards while jumping for heavy damage. 3-1: METEORAIN: Cloud twirls his sword and leaps into the air. With one swing, he sends a shower of meteors down upon his foes, hitting 4 times. 3-2: FINISHING TOUCH: Creating a light at the tip of his sword, Cloud throws a funnel of rising air that sucks in all opponents for an instant kill attack. Those that survive are dropped to the ground for further physical damage. 4: OMNISLASH: A column of wind surrounds Cloud and his sword lights up. He then attacks all enemies for a total of 15 hits, finishing with a diving swordslash. The sword strikes cause physical damage, while the last strike hits all foes. Dyne 1-1: MOLOTOV COCKTAIL: Dyne grabs a bottle, lights it and chucks it at one enemy. 1-2: MAGIC GRENADE: Dyne chucks the grenade up in the air, catches then chucks it at a high speed at an enemy which completely saps them of MP. 2-1: MORTAR SHELL: Dyne powers up and shoots a mortar shell up into the air. It falls down hitting all opponents for damage. 2-2: DEATH BLAST: Dyne runs up and puts his gun right on an enemy's head. If it misses it does no damage. If it hits, it instantly kills. 3-1: HEAT SEEKER: Dyne sweeps the gun across the screen and fires one heat seeking missile for each of the opposition. This attack hits for special damage. 3-2: BULLET HOSE: Dyne's gun arm starts spraying bullets, like a machine gun. This attack fires repeated rounds of ammo at his opposition. 4: NUCLEAR HOLOCAUST: Dyne runs right into the middle of the opposition and plants an atomic bomb on the ground which detonates seconds later which hits for ten times Dynes attack. Irvine Irvine's limit breaks require him to fire shots in 10 seconds. But if his level is higher than 10 then that is the amount of seconds he gets. He may use any blasts he has learned. 1-1: NORMAL BLASTS: This break will make Irvine shoot one enemy for average damage. 1 sec load time. 1-2: SCATTER BLASTS: This break will make Irvine shoot all enemies for average damage. 2 sec load time. 2-1: DARK BLASTS: This break will make Irvine shoot one enemy for average damage plus a status affect. 2 sec load time. 2-2: CANISTER BLASTS: This break is powerful but very slow. 5 sec load time. 3-1: QUICK BLASTS: This is a very fast break but weak as a normal attack. 0.25 sec load time. 3-2: ARMOUR BLASTS: More powerful than canister blasts and faster. 2.5 sec load time. 4-1: HYPER BLASTS: Maximum damage to all enemies and fast fire rate. 1.5 sec load time. Laguna 1-1: BALL SHOT: Laguna chucks a beach ball up in the air and at a certain point in the air it goes down and he shoots at it. The bullets go through it to hit the stomach of one enemy. 1-2: CHEAP SHOT: Laguna runs up to one enemy and knifes his eyes which causes Blind. 2-1: LUMBERJACK: A tree appears out of nowhere and Laguna shoots it down onto the enemies. 2-2: SPEED RAIN: Laguna runs up to the enemies and fires lots of rounds into the air then bails out. They hail down at a very fast speed which will instant kill those it hits. 3-1: FRIENDLY FIRE Laguna sticks his gun into the ground and fires lots of rounds which come up under one enemy. 3-2: HOME RUN: Laguna plants homing devices on all enemies then sends out the missles at them. 4-1: DESPERADO: Laguna chucks a grenade and fires a few shots then bails out. Red XIII 1-1: SLED FANG: Swirls of blue energy surround Red XIII, who tackles his opponent for physical damage. 1-2: LUNATIC HOWL: Sheets of yellow vapour shoot up from around Red XIII and his companions. It has the same affect as 'Haste'. Each ally is also 'powered up' (?). 2-1: BLOOD FANG: Swirls of energy surround Red XIII, who tackles his opponent. In addition to striking for physical damage, Red is healed for a small amount of HP and also gains back some MP as well. 2-2: STARDUST RAIN: A field of stars replaces the background. Red XIII howls and a shower of blue lights rain down on all opponents striking twelve times. 3-1: HOWLING MOON: A full moon appears, making Red XIII leap up and howl at it. He is affected by Berserk and Haste at the same time. 3-2: EARTH RAVE: Red XIII attacks the enemy with jumping bites and claw scratches. Each time he attacks, balls of fire burst forth and shower over the enemy. This attack hits five times for physical and fire damage. 4: COSMO MEMORY: Red XIII summons a flare into which a field of stars and balls of fire are absorbed. The flare then explodes in a ray of Fire followed by an explosion that hits all foes for fire damage. Rinoa 1-1: ANGELO RUSH: Rinoa calls Angelo to run at one enemy and tackle it down. 1-2: ANGELO RECOVER: Rinoa calls Angelo to help her allies out by healing all HP and MP 2-1: ANGELO CANNON: Rinoa calls Angelo to rush and dodge through all enemies. Special damage. 2-2: ANGELO REVERSE: Rinoa call Angelo to bring a party member back to life fully. 3-1: ANGELO STRIKE: Rinoa calls Angelo to maul an enemy to near death. Multiple hits. 3-2: INVINCIBLE MOON: Rinoa calls Angelo to howl at the moon which makes all party members invincible. 4-1: WISHING STAR: Rinoa calls Angelo to bring forth a ball of energy which brightens the arena and leaves the enemies in pain. Selphie Selphie learns limit breaks differently. She learns them off other people. She imitates their weapons with her fingers and it does the same effect. But the only way she can learn them is if she goes into critical or dead status. And she must learn them in order so she must learn a 1-1 limit break first before learning a 3-2. Also, if she learns Cloud's Braver and uses it on him, he will counter it and use it on you. This applies for anyone she uses it on. They will counter it back. Sephiroth 1-1: DOWNWARD SLASH: Sephiroth charges up then in a flash his sword comes down on one enemy. 1-2: DOUBLE PUMMEL: Sephiroth waves his sword and splits up into 2. They/He rush forward and both pull a critical attack on one enemy. 2-1: SWORD WAVE: Sephiroth slams his sword into the ground and a crack opens towards one opponent causing earth damage. Then a shockwave of fire comes out, hitting other enemies for fire damage. 2-2: SPEED BLADE: Sephiroth rushes forward, only to fade. He appears beside one opponent at random and attacks him/her/it then fades again and repeats 5 times. 3-1: FRAGMENT BLAST: Sephiroth waves his sword and moon fragments shower down, hitting 7 times. A lot like Meteorain (3-1 Cloud). 3-2: KINETICOSLAM: Sephiroth summons up his power and grabs all enemies in a hand made of energy. He repeatedly slams them for a total of 10 times. 4: SUPERNOVA: Sephiroth summons up a comet/meteor which blows through half the planets to get at the sun. It creates a supernova which wipes out Mercury and Venus and hits all enemies, just. It does no damage to Sephiroth. Squall 1-1: ROUGH DIVIDE: Squall charges at his enemy and performs a rising slash. 1-2: DARK BLADE: Squall slices his enemy in a way which results in a pentagon shape. The enemy then gets a random status affect. 2-1: FATED CIRCLE: Squall leaps into the air then twirls his sword which releases a shockwave of energy that hits all foes. 2-2: IMPALE: Squall pushes one enemy [HARD] and then he runs around behind him and sticks his sword out. If he misses he inflicts minor damage but it's instant death if he hits. 3-1: BLASTING ZONE: Squall points his sword upwards which a column of light comes out of. He then drags it down onto his enemies. This hits for special damage. 3-2: COMPACTED HEAT: Squall draws a 3D box around his enemies. The box then closes in and compacts the enemies. 4-1: LION HEART: Squall knocks all enemies into the air, and then unleashes a devastating flurry of attacks. Tifa The more Limit Breaks she learns, the more slots appear in the slot machine that picks the skill she uses (the abilities listed above).When she gains a new Break, she is able to use a new attack. She can learn up to 10 slots total. When picking a slot, there are three outcomes: HIT, which makes Tifa perform one of the above attacks, YEAH!, which works like HIT but increases the damage inflicted, and MISS, which makes Tifa do nothing. Tifa will then proceed to perform all the moves you end up with in a row. She will randomly switch to a new enemy (or stay with the one she's attacking) for each new move. 1-1: BEAT RUSH: A quick combination of punches. 1-2: SOMERSAULT: A somersault kick. 2-1: WATERKICK: A sweep kick that hits for water damage. 2-2: METEODRIVE: A back-slam. 3-1: DOLPHIN BLOW: A rising uppercut accompanied by a geyser of water with a dolphin riding on top of it. 3-2: METEOR STRIKE: Tifa grabs her opponent, jumps in the air, and body-slams them as a huge explosion appears. 4: FINAL HEAVEN: Tifa strikes her enemy with a huge, exploding attack. Vincent At the start of any of Vincent's Limit Breaks, his HP is doubled and is filled up to it's maximum amount. It returns to normal afterwards. Also, Vincent can still be affected by status changes while in another form (such as Mini or Poison). While transformed, Vincent is uncontrollable and will randomly perform one of his form's two attacks when his Time bar is maxed out. 1: GALIANT BEAST: Vincent alters his form and becomes a horned, purple monster. - Vincent claws and bites one opponent. - Vincent throws golden orbs at all foes that hit for ice/lightning damage. 2: DEATH GIGAS: This Morph changes Vincent into a Frankenstein's Monster. - Vincent jumps and punches one enemy. - Vincent pounds his chest and fires electricity at all enemies, which strikes for lightning damage. 3: HELL MASK: Vincent transforms into a Jason look-alike, complete with chainsaw and hockey mask. - Vincent attacks 5 times with his saw. - A poison gas with skulls flying out of it appears and afflicts an enemy with Silence, Sleepel, and Toad ailments in addition to causing poison damage. 4: CHAOS: Vincent turns into a skull-faced demon with bat wings. - CHAOS SABER: Vincent slashes all foes with his wings. - SATAN SLAM: The ground rises in the shape of a skull and it's eyes flash, causing an instant death attack. The survivors are attacked by orange skulls that hit for special damage. Yuffie 1-1: GREASED LIGHTNING: Yuffie slashes once with her weapon, causing no damage. A second slash mark then appears and her opponent is hit for physical damage. 1-2: CLEAR TRANQUIL: Globes of water surround Yuffie and her companions. When they pop open, each character regains some HP. 2-1: LANDSCAPER: Yuffie hits the ground and a line of blast waves heads towards her enemy. The ground buckles, then explodes, inflicting earth damage. 2-2: BLOODFEST: The screen turns red and Yuffie hits all enemies with her weapon 10 times for physical damage. 3-1: GAUNTLET: Yuffie creates a blue light beneath all her opponents. A column of blue light bursts upward, hitting every one. 3-2: DOOM OF THE LIVING: The screen turns blue as Yuffie leaps from enemy to enemy, striking for a total of 15 hits. With each hit, purple light flashes from her weapon. 4: ALL CREATION: Yuffie creates a swirling circular mass of red, purple, and white light. Out of it fires a large beam of white light that damages all enemies. Zack 1-1: SLICE IN TWO: Zack dashes forward and performs a downward attack against one opponent. 1-2: RUNE SPIRAL: Zack whirls his sword around an enemy that creates a symbol over it's head. When it fades away, that enemy is hit once. It also has a chance of paralysing the hit foe. 2-1: DRAGON CUT: Zack sends a spiral of blue energy at the targeted foe. When it hits, smaller spirals shoot outward to hit each remaining foe, although the damage is less than the first, big spiral. 2-2: ZIG-ZAG: Zack sticks his sword into an enemy and then zig-zags it across its body for heavy damage. 3-1: MOON ASSAULT: Zack twirls his sword and leaps into the air. With one swing, he sends a shower of moon rocks down upon his foes, hitting 4 times. 3-2: HEAVENLY VORTEX: Creating a light at the tip of his sword, Zack creates a vortex that sucks in all opponents for an instant kill attack. Those that survive are dropped to the ground for further physical damage. 4: OMNISTRIKES: A column of wind surrounds Zack and his sword lights up. He then attacks all enemies for a total of 15 hits, finishing with a diving swordslash. The sword strikes cause physical damage, while the last strike hits all foes. |
