Fog Light Mod (8/2001)

This Mod makes your Fog Lights come on when the button is pressed with just the Parking Lights on. From the Factory they would only come on with the Headlights. The Mod is fairly common and makes sense to me. I thought it was dumb to only be able to turn on your Fog Lights when the Headlights were on... that'd ruin the whole concept of Fog Lights wouldn't it?
Alright, really simple to do. Just pull your Radio Console off the dash and cut the red wire going to the Fog Light switch. Get a splice thing from Radio Shack and use it to connect the Red wire (the side still connected to the Fog Light button) to the Orange wire. Tape off the exposed Red wire on the side that goes back into the car which is no longer attached to anything. Close it up and you are good to go.

Sleepy-Eye Mod (8/2001)

This Mod simply lets you press a button to raise your Headlights to the desired height, from not up at all to as high up as they'd normally go. The Lights themselves turn on when the headlight switch is turned to the Headlight setting even if you don't have them up at all. I don't think the heat will cause any problems to any plastic down inside the bucket... Though, if they are not up at all, my last mod will let my Fog Lights be on without the Headlights, so why bother turning on the Headlights if you aren't going to put them up some.
This Mod consists of just cutting one wire from behind your fuse box and splicing in a switch. Of course, you want the button somewhere other than right behind the fuse box so you just splice some wires on to extend the reach of the button.

Painted Calipers (7/2001)

In this Mod you are painting all of the brake calipers. Choosing a color which will match up with your car is ideal. The brighter the better to draw more attention.
I did not feel like disassembling my brakes to do this mod... So I did it the cheap and fast way. Left the Calipers on the car and just jacked it up and masked off the areas I didn't want hit with paint. 3 coats later and I was done! Looks great too!
