Substitution
3x+2y=15
y=2x-8
3x+2(2x-8)=15              y=2(3)-8
3x+4x-16=15                y=6-8
7x-16=15                      y=-2
7x=21
x=3                               (3,-2)
First I took the y and put  y=2x-8 into the y area on the other equation and got 3x+2(2x-8)=15. From there I just added my like variables and got 7x-16=15. Then I subtracted -16and got 7x=21. And last divided 7 from 21 and got x=3. Then I put x in the y equation and got y=2(3)-8. The multiplied and got y=6-8. The subtracted and got y= -2.
