Every able-bodied person our age should have a job. Those that don't are what we call in our day and age "unmotivated." I prefer to think it's less willing to tolerate pain. However, a famous author once said, "Life is pain. Anyone who says different is selling something."

And I do! I sell my services...as a guitar teacher. Take a second and get your minds out of the gutter. I work part-time (about fifteen hours is all) at Joiner Academy. My primary job there is to teach private music lessons. Those are mainly guitar and bass guitar lessons. My students range anywhere from eight to thirty-five years old. I find it easiest to teach people older than about eleven, because they have much more motivation and are willing to practice to attain their optimal performance level. That's probably the same reason they don't let you go to college until you're older, huh?

Anyway, the owners are nice, the pay is great, and I just have a blast doing it. Oh, did I mention I also teach upper-level math students as well?
