Commonly known as "St. B's", when I first went to Birmingham, someone recommended it to me as a church to try on discovering my anglican background. Although I was unsure about St. B's on my first visit (which was a service of dedication for twin babies in the church), I felt that it was 'right' to attend there. I soon settled into this big, friendly, child-based church which I consider to be just a bigger, slightly more modern version of St. Peter's (where I attend back home).

I started to attend one of the Tuesday night home groups (Bible study's) soon after discovering St. B's. It was different to any I had attended back home, in the respect that although they opened in prayer, they then prayed for others instead of singing songs of praise and worship to God. (We have a separate prayer meeting back home.) Nevertheless, it is still a good place to get to know others from the church and, more importantly, God and what he has to say. Please feel free to browse the St. B's homepage or to learn more about events in the area

Since leaving Birmingham, the vicar and his wife, Wallace and Mary Brown, have had a book published called 'Angels on the Walls'. I can recommend it to anyone who is interested to read about God working in the church today.
