Here's a 57 Chrysler 300C for all you H-O train collectors.  It's from Classic Metal Works in 1/87th scale and while not as detailed as the 1/64th scale cars, it's a fairly accurate model (and has the added attraction of not taking up very much space!).  See the nickel in the foreground for an idea of just how tiny this piece is.
One of the only models of the '57 Plymouth Fury available is this very nicely done 1/64th scale number from Racing Champions (now part of Ertl).  All the trim is correct, proportions are excellent, and they even did the gold grille.  Amazing, considering the model is less than 3 inches long!
What an odd subject for a model!  A 1961 Valiant V100 station wagon in 1/87th scale, by Revell.  This model was actually a promotional model available from Chrysler Corporation in 1961.  It was part of a set of 7 cars that included at least one each from each division.  The models were also available separately.
And you thought the Valiant was odd -- how about a '61 Plymouth Suburban 2 door wagon!  These are rare even as full-sized cars.  This model is also part of the same Revell set as the Valiant wagon above.  This 1961 set also included a Chrysler Newport convertible, an Imperial 2 door Southhampton, Dodge Polara and Phoenix 2 door hard tops, and a Lancer sedan.  These models are extremely rare and I'm still looking for the other 5!
This rarely seen solid plastic '57 Dodge was made by Irwin back in the late '50s.  The model was not done to any particular scale; however, it's about 6 inches long and was originally all chrome plated.  When I found it, the piece was pretty scuffed up so I decided to paint it.  I have yet to find another one like this.
And here we have the very first model car I ever built!  It's the 1/32nd scale  '55 Chrysler New Yorker St. Regis by Revell.  This model was actually issued in 1955 and I built it around 1957.  Originally the model didn't come out this nice, as I was only 7 years old at the time, so I re-built it sometime in the late '60s.  The colors represent an actual '55 St. Regis that I owned in 1967 (wish I had that one now!).
In 1956 Revell again offered the Chrysler New Yorker St. Regis in 1/32nd scale.  I built this one right the first time, as I wasn't able to obtain the model until the mid-70's.  I used the colors illustrated on the box -- Hunter Green, Mint Green and black.  This Revell series has always been a favorite of mine, and I do have the complete set.
Here's another piece from my ever-growing taxi fleet. It's the '58 Plymouth Plaza cab from Dinky Toys of England, made in '59.  This is approximately 1/45th scale ('O' gauge).  Around this time, Dinky issued many Forward Look cars; however, I don't really collect Dinky Toys so I only have the taxi.
