The Brooklin Collection's number 63 is the long awaited '56 Plymouth Fury.  Brooklin outdid themselves on this one.  The gold trim, correct interior colors, and dual exhaust tips all combine to make a great model.
The Turquoise Blue and Eggshell White '56 Belevedere convertible and the Cherry Red and Jet Black '56 4-door hardtop are numbers 18 and 13 from Madison Models of Holland.  Their detailing is exceptional and proportions are great.  Madison is known for doing models of less common cars.  I have most of their models in my collection.
This is about all that remains of Chrysler's ill-fated Norseman showcar as the actual car sank with the Italian ocean liner The Andrea Doria.  Many styling features of the Norseman showed up on later Mopars such as the taillight design ('57 DeSoto), the scallopped wheel wells ('60 Plymouth), and the roofline ('66 Charger).  The beautifully done model is from Great American Dream Machine, who specializes in one-off showcars.
Legends of Racing produced a series of historic Nascar stock cars, including Buck Baker's '56 Chrysler 300B.  I know it's a crude model with proportions that leave a bit to be desired but I couldn't resist the historic significance of this mighty 300B.
The 1957 Chrysler 300C convertible shown here is the first model produced by Madison of Holland.  Although a bit stubby the detailing is great and the black finish is flawless.  Madison produced only 137 of these black convertibles.  The model was also available in Gauguin Red and Parade Green.
Excellent proportions and fine detailing highlight the '57 300C hardtop, a bargain-priced model from Ertl.  The car comes packaged in a set called 'The Class of 57' which also includes a '57 Bel Air hardtop and a '57 Mercury convertible.
