1980 Land Rover 109 - Stage One
Repairs, Modifications and Adventures
(2006)

August 2006: New Tires on freshly painted wheels. The original color should be Land Rover Limestone. I was looking to save a few pennies and go the easiest route and used what was available in the rattle can at the Home Depot. It is a close match. It will look even closer once it is covered up in mud.

The new tires are Kumho Road Venture MT 235/85/R16. These are a tubless radial size that replaces the old cross-ply tires with inner tubes that were sized 7.5x16.
