Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo Collection

DoCo 1st CD Cover DoCo 2nd CD Cover
DoCo First CD Cover - DoCo Second CD Cover

All of the following songs are tracks from the Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo Collection CD (consists of both DoCo First and DoCo Second CDs). This CD contains, in my opinion, the best Ranma 1/2 songs. Most of the songs have an upbeat tempo that all sound great, but all the songs sound great! All the following MP3s are recorded at 128kbit/sec from a 16-bit Stereo 44.1kHz stream (close to CD quality). Although, if you do happen to stumble across the CD in a store, I would recommend in buying it! If you want to know the words to the songs, be sure the check out the lyrics section.

So what is DoCo anyways? According the the Ranma Sound Shrine: "Doco First (* and Doco Second *) is a CD of songs put together by the Voice Actresses of Ranma-chan, Akane, Nabiki, Kasumi, and Shampoo (Called DoCo as a spoof of the group Coco who did some other Ranma songs.)"

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 1 (0.6 megs) - ** - Short and soft instrumental introduction to the Best of DoCo CD. Listening to this gives no hint of what the upcoming songs are like. This is rather slow and soft, while most of the DoCo songs have an upbeat tempo.

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 2 (3.6 megs) - **** - Boku-tachi wa Kore Kara [Us After This] - An upbeat tune involving many of the female characters (sometimes incorrectly misinterpreted as the Ranma 1/2 Special Intro).

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 3 (4.3 megs) - **** - Akai Kutsu no SUNDAY [Red Shoe Sunday] - Shampoo and her friends pull off a snappy song.

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 4 (4.3 megs) - *** - Usotsuki [Liar].

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 5 (3.3 megs) - *** - Sukoshi Dake Sakamichi [Only a Little Hill Road] - Has a slower tempo than most of the other songs.

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 6 (3.5 megs) - **** - Omoide ga Ippai [Full of Memories] (DoCo Version).

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 7 (7.1 megs) - *** - Kare [Boyfriend].

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 8 (4.6 megs) - **** - Kiyoku Tadashii KURISUMASU [A Pure and Honest Christmas] - Upbeat tune christmas song - good song!(also sometimes known as the Ranma 1/2 Special Closing).

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 9 (4.5 megs) - **** - Jugyouchuu no Shougakkou [In the Middle of Class of Elementary School] - A very nice song with an upbeat tempo!

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 10 (4.2 megs) - *** - Owaranai Natsu Yasumi [Neverending Summer Vacation].

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 11 (3.7 megs) - **** - Kagayaku Sora to Kimi no Koe [A Glittering Sky and Your Voice] - Great tune (also sometimes known as a special intro).

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 12 (5.4 megs) - *** - Koi ga Hitotsu Kiete Shimatta no [Love Vanished Once (Regrettably)] - One of the few DoCo songs that has a slower tempo, but like ALL the DoCo songs, its good.

Ranma 1/2 Best of DoCo track 13 (6.3 megs) - **** - FUKUZATSU-na Ryouomoi (Live Version) [Complex Two Thoughts] - this has got to be my favorite DoCo song. It involves Ranma-chan and her gang in a live concert, singing a very upbeat song.
