Ranma 1/2 Intro Movies

So can't get enough or Ranma 1/2 or maybe just curious to see what all the hype is all about? Well here are some movie clips (MOV format) that you should check out! All the clips are intros to various Ranma 1/2 series in Japanese, so they contain really good theme songs as well as great art! Most of these video intros are available as a compilation on the Ranma 1/2 Video Jukebox. I highly recommend each one, but some more than others. I gave ratings for each clip with stars, a maximium of four being the best, so you have an opinion on which ones to get first if you aren't going to get them all (sure, getting them all may sound quite a crazy thing to do, but like Lay's potato chips, you can't just have one. Due to the video clips' large sizes they may be hard to obatin. However I think your time will be well spent if you decide to download any of these. The majority of these movies were recorded in 320X240 resolution in millions of colors with a sound quality of 16-bit 22kHz mono (excellent audio/visual quality). Ranma 1/2 Special Opening (DoCo 1-2) (24.7 megs) - ****
TITLE: Bokutachi wa kore kara(Us after this)
VIZ TITLE: Where do we go from here?
PERFORMER: Doco
DESC: Very upbeat song (even for Doco), has an animaton of Ranma &
Akane going to school and cuts to all the Doco members singing.

Ranma 1/2 Special Ending (DoCo 2-1) (28.5 megs) - ***
TITLE: Kiyoku Tadashii Christmas (A Pure and Honest Christmas)
PERFORMER: Doco
DESC: A sort of jazz-sounding song that that has a chritmas setting, it has some
interesting animation and features Ranma's mother as well as a flying panda.

Ranma 1/2 Video Game Trailer (4.7 megs) - **
FEATURES SONG: Don't Make me wild like you (Jajauma ni Sasenaide)
PERFORMER: Nishio Etsuko
DESC: A shameless advertisement for the obscure Super NES video game:
Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle. It features the first season opening song in the background,
which by the way appears nowhere in the video game.

TITLE: Jajauma ni Sasenaide(Don't Make me a Shrew)
VIZ TITLE: Wild Like You
PERFORMER: Nishio Etsuko
DESC: An incredibly catchy upbeat song used for the Ranma 1/2 first season
shows. The animation has pratically every character in Ranma 1/2 running
around or dancing, and features Akane with long hair

Ranma 1/2 TV Intro 2 (26 megs)- ****
TITLE: Little Date
PERFORMER: ribbon
DESC: The second season theme. A great song with interesting animation. It
seems to be a lot sharper and more organized than the first video. Has many of
appearances of the main characters too.

TITLE: Omoide ga Ippai(Full of Memories)
VIZ TITLE: So Many Memories
PERFORMER: CoCo
DESC: The Hard Battle opener. A real interesting song with an interesting
performing group. The animation features clips of the series and still
art and goes extremely well with the song.

Ranma 1/2 TV Intro 4 (24 megs) - ***
TITLE: Zettai! Part 2(Absolutely Not! Part 2)
VIZ TITLE: (Umm... sorry haven't seen any 4th season yet)
PERFORMER: Hayasaka Yoshie
DESC: Fourth season opener. Another really upbeat catchy song with some nifty
finger painting.

TITLE: Chikyuu Orchestra(Earth Orchestra)
PERFORMER: Kusu Kusu
DESC: Fifth season opener. An interesting intro (I don't mean that in a bad way).

Ranma 1/2 TV Intro 6 (25 megs) - ****
TITLE: Mou nakanaide (Don't cry anymore)
PERFORMER: Mo Nakanaide
DESC: I really like this one! The theme song that goes with this has
to be the best one out of the bunch!
