I am always fair and try not to single out any one child, except the birthday boy or girl, at the party. Since the party is basically
focused on one child, I keep in mind every child will want to be
included in magic tricks and games. I like to use assistants for everything
I do. If I have to make balloon animals, I ask the child to be my
assistant, then I instruct
them to pick a balloon out of a basket, then hold
my pump until the animal is complete. I try to bring a roll of "clown
assistant" stickers with me so I have something to give to each party-goer.
I also bring a grab bag full of party favours. I have each child reach in
and pick something to take home. I never forget to bring a present for the
birthday girl or boy. It is their birthday party after all!
When I get to the party, I arrive in a special way. I will park a few houses away so the children don't see my car when I'm changing from my regular shoes into my clown shoes. Children assume that I will be driving a tiny car with 8 or 9 of my clown pals jammed inside! I have a funny walk when approaching the home. I love to practice this walk to see how people react. I always come prepared for everything and anything. It's best to book a party well in advance. When booking parties, I request the following information from the person in charge;
